I am an economist specialising in macroeconometric modelling, financial markets, and fiscal policy. 

In my role at the German Council of Economic Experts, I support the Council's work on evidence-based economic policy advice for the German government. 

I hold a PhD in Applied Statistics and Empirical Methods from the University of Göttingen.
